Общественная организация, консервативный исследовательский центр проблем национальной безопасности, координационный центр деятельности Коалиции за мир с позиции силы [Coalition for Peace Through Strength]. Издает ежемесячный журнал "Нэшнл секьюрити рипорт" [National Security Report], публикует результаты своих исследований. Основана в 1955. Играла важную роль в выработке многих политических решений периода "холодной войны" [cold war]. У истоков организации стояли такие деятели, как У. Дисней [Disney, Walt (Walter Elias)], А. Гарриман [Harriman, William Averell], Н. Рокфеллер [Rockefeller, Nelson Aldrich] и др. Штаб-квартира в г. Кулпепер, шт. Вирджиния
